Pufferio is suitable for all ages. Cartoon animals puff up and bump each other out of a ring. Nobody is hurt, nothing is destroyed, and there is no chat. Two things are worth a parent's attention: the mobile apps show a short ad between some rounds, and they sell optional cosmetic currency. Both can be switched off — ads with a one-time Remove Ads purchase, spending with your device's parental controls. The website has neither.

Based on the content above we submit Pufferio as suitable for everyone: PEGI 3, ESRB Everyone, USK 0, App Store 4+ — with the standard "in-app purchases" disclosure on the mobile versions. The official rating shown on each store is issued by that store's rating body and takes precedence over this page.

For parents

Spending. In the iOS and Android apps, Puffers are bought through Apple's or Google's own payment systems — use Screen Time (iOS) or parental controls (Google Play) to require a password for every purchase, or to block purchases entirely. The desktop web version can also sell Puffers, with payment handled by Paddle; a card is required there, so keep card details out of children's reach as you would in any online shop.

Ads. One short ad appears between rounds in the apps — never during one — is non-personalized, and is closed by the player. A one-time Remove Ads purchase turns them off for good.

Nothing is pay-to-win. Everything sold is cosmetic and never changes how a character plays. A child who spends nothing is exactly as competitive as one who spends.

No strangers can message your child. There is no chat, no friend requests and no voice.

Playing with friends only. A private room can be opened and shared by code, so the round contains only people you invited.
