Pufferio is a round little sumo game with exactly one control: hold to inflate, release to launch. Eight ways nothing about that sentence is as simple as it sounds, and this guide covers all of them.

Rounds last about ninety seconds. Two to twenty players share a shrinking ring, and the last one still inside it wins. You can play it free on this very page on a computer, or install it on iPhone and Android.

The idea in one paragraph

Every second of a round is the same decision wearing different clothes: air is both your armor and your ammunition. Inflated, you are heavy, you shove hard, and you are very hard to move, but you are also slow and you make an enormous target. Vent that air in one go and it becomes a launch: a burst of speed in exactly the direction you point. Spend it too early and you are small and harmless. Hoard it too long and the ring shrinks out from under you. Everything else in Pufferio, the characters, the arenas, the modes, is built to bend that one decision in a new direction.
