Pufferio player guide
A mode changes who you are fighting and what winning means, never the controls. All three are played with the same finger.
The default. Everyone against everyone, last puffy in the ring wins. All the strategy in this guide applies straight: control the center, spend air on purpose, let the shrinking ring do your dirty work.
Red against blue. You pass straight through your own team, no friendly bumps, no blocking each other, which turns positioning into a real team skill: two reds can occupy the same lane, funnel a blue between them, and close. A team wins when the other side’s puffies are all out. Watch the colors, not the costumes: the round recolors everyone so allegiance is visible at a glance.
One puffy is the rabbit: bright white, wearing a halo, faster than everyone. The rest of the field are hunters. The rules:
The mode inverts the usual mathematics. Being hunted by everyone sounds like losing, but the rabbit is the only puffy with a finish line: survive, run, and let the hunters trip over each other. Hunters have their own dilemma: the one who knocks the rabbit out inherits every enemy in the arena. Sometimes the best hunter play is arriving second.
Quick match rotates modes and arenas. Private rooms let you pick the mode, the arena and the field size yourself, see private rooms.
