Pufferio player guide
Pufferio updates over the air: most improvements reach installed apps within hours of shipping, no store download required. The recent highlights:
August 2026
- Seven languages, everywhere. The game, the store pages and this website now speak English, Hebrew, Russian, French, Arabic, Chinese and Japanese, with full right-to-left layouts.
- Everything works offline. Skins, backgrounds, sounds and cosmetics are cached on device after first sight: airplane mode now gets the complete game, not a degraded one.
- Swap-sides controls. Left-handed players (and right-to-left languages, automatically) can put the stick and the PUFF button on whichever side feels right.
- Honest reward button. The double-points button now appears only when an ad is actually ready: no more taps into nothing.
- Launch on both stores. Pufferio is officially out on the App Store and Google Play.
Earlier in 2026
- The Fire arena: vents that glow, then erupt.
- Catch the Rabbit: the third mode, complete with halo.
- Real online multiplayer: quick match now runs on a server that simulates the same deterministic physics as your device.
- Achievements and leaderboards: with country flags and weekly boards.
How updates reach you
The apps check for a new game bundle at launch and pull it in the background: a couple of megabytes, verified against a signed manifest before a single byte of it runs. That is why a bug you report on Tuesday is often gone on Wednesday without the store ever showing an update. Bigger changes that touch the native shell (new store features, new ad rules) still go through normal App Store and Google Play releases.
The full changelog lives in the round-by-round work; this page keeps the parts a player would notice. Spot something broken? The FAQ says where to send it.
